If you’re a gun flash designer who enjoys the freedom and variety of freelancing and we haven’t got you on our books we should talk!

We have a range of great clients in and around Sydney with some quite interesting projects for durations as short as 1 week up to 3-6 month engagements with a view to permanent(if you want to go permanent that is).

What skills are we looking for?
Solid communication skills, creative thinking, initiative and sound digital production skills. A strong digital creative digital skill-set and a portfolio of relevant work. You’ll need to able to work on PC or Mac and be an expert with Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash (we’re not expecting you to code AS2 but you should be able to collaborate with smart developers to turn a dream into reality). You should also have an appreciation of usability and web standards with some front end language understanding. Proven commercial experience in an agency environment including your ability to be graceful under pressure are highly regarded.

What’s the work like?
We’d normally place you onsite with digital agencies or web development companies, so the work is generally pretty cool and you’ll be working with MAJOR brands. You’ll be working in collaborative team environments often responding to briefs and direction from creative directors and art directors. We do require you to have initiative - we’re not looking for idealess mac ops. Happener pays top daily and hourly rates depending upon your skills and experience.

You can expect a variety of projects including:

  • Microsites
  • Web site interfaces/UI from wireframes
  • Interactive Games
  • Web Applications
  • Interactive Banners
  • How to be considered?
Simply share your portfolio with us.
Ideally we’d like to see your best examples of banners under 30kb - as evidence of your skillset (don’t worry, we won’t put you to work in a banner factory unless you want to!).
You can fill in the contact form below, email your cv or phone me, Greg Dwyer on +61 2 8264 0114 or 0405 051 443 for a confidential discussion.
