Lead Flash Developer

Based in Sydney, Australia - The Lead Flash developer will be the in-house Flash guru who develops and mentors others to deliver strategic global solutions for clients in this award winning digital agency.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining site content for client projects to meet scheduled delivery benchmarks.
  • Working with other Development Services and Creative Team disciplines to integrate site content (graphics, copy, functionality, etc).
  • Working closely as part of a project team, supporting the development process and communicating progress and scheduling timeframes to Project Manager and other team members.
  • Adherence to production procedures and specifications for code implementation, file preparation and naming. Where necessary developing code standards. Adherence to project documentation, other technical and general procedures. Quality Assurance and Testing as part of site development and maintenance / launch process.
  • Accepting and offering direction / advice from and to your peers to solve project problems.
  • Keeping up with new technologies and implementation techniques under guidance from the Technical team. Pro-activity in this area is rewarded.
  • Participation in implementation of Technical team strategies.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience with proven track record of delivering large scale Flash projects.
  • Guru ability with Action Script V2.0 / Flash Version 8 / Object orientated programming.
  • Understanding of Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) / Web Services / XML integration.
  • Deep understanding of integrating dynamic, database-driven content.
  • Create technical specifications and document large projects.
  • Great design sensibilities.
  • Experience with ASP.NET, PHP, SqlServer, Content Management Systems (CMS) desirable.
